I hold a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as two master’s degrees: one in Reading & Literacy, and one in Educational Technology & Instructional Design with a focus on Adult Learning Specialization. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Resource Management to deepen my work in people development, leadership, and organizational wellness. I also completed doctoral studies in Educational Leadership and Management, gaining valuable skills through coursework in rehabilitation counseling and coaching.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve served as a certified teacher, academic coach, and adjunct professor. But let me be clear: it’s not my credentials that make me most qualified for this work. It’s my personal journey.
For years, I quietly battled imposter syndrome behind every title: wife, daughter, mother, pastor’s wife, author, educator etc., On the outside, I had the certifications and affirmations. But inside, I was stuck chasing a version of success that didn’t feel like mine. Eventually, I had to stop performing and start asking the hard questions: What does thriving look like for me? Thriving that is not based on other people’s expectations, but rooted in truth.
That was my turning point.
I discovered that redefining myself wasn’t about chasing more. It was about leaning into growth. The kind of growth that invites you back to your core: your values, your purpose, your dreams, and the voice you tucked away to make space for everyone else. Today, I help other women do the same. As a coach, author, and speaker, I create safe and affirming spaces for women who have spent years holding it all together for everyone else but are ready to finally hold space for themselves. I help you feel seen, heard, and steady so you can lead, live, and love without losing who you are.
You don’t have to shrink to be strong.
You don’t have to choose between being powerful and being whole.
You get to thrive, and you get to define what that means.
This is the work I was called to do, not just from what I’ve learned, but from what I’ve lived. If any part of my story resonates with you, I’d love to walk with you as you begin writing your own. You're not alone. Let's do this together!
